Queen’s speech: “There are no jobs but we expect the sick to work”?
The Queen’s speech to Parliament on 3 December 2008, which sets out the Labour government’s legislative agenda for the year, is expected to include the controversial welfare reform which aims to get people off benefits and “support” the sick and disabled back into work.
