ALICE Ryan’s article about ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) sufferer Jeff Gerrard (“Battling illness day at a time”, News, July 11), who generously shares his experiences with a bit of light relief impish humour, is the most accurate account I’ve ever seen of this extremely disabling neurological illness which, for most, is a life sentence.
